Job title: Telephone Sales Agent
Salary: £18,000 - £21,000 per annum, plus commission (OTE £25,000 - £28,000) depending on experience
Contract & Hours: Permanent - Full time, 36 hours per week working a rotational shift pattern

We have some fantastic opportunities for Telephone Sales Agents to join our award winning team within our Contact Centre working on a full time, permanent basis. We have been named one of the UK’s best workplaces for 2020 by Great Place to Work UK so this is an exciting time to be joining our team.
The role is office based, but you will have the option to work on a hybrid basis following successful completion of your training.
As a Telephone Sales Agent, you’ll be contacting our database of new pet owners (who have free temporary cover with us) and selling our exceptional pet insurance to customers. You will be responding to queries in a friendly, personable manner and you’ll follow up on pending quotations and call-back requests in a timely manner. Having identified customer needs, you will highlight the product features and benefits of policies and will ensure you have provided our customers with all the information they need to make an informed decision and purchase. Additionally, you will maintain customer records and take telephone payments in compliance with security protocols.
You’ll be required to work a rotational shift pattern that covers the hours of 9am- 8pm, Monday to Friday and 9am- 5pm on Saturdays, working one in two Saturdays.
What we would like you to have
You will have experience in handling and overcoming objections, preferably in a sales environment but not essential, with the ability to deal with customers over the telephone in a confident and professional manner. You should have a creative approach in being able to negotiate and be persuasive when dealing with customers. You must be competent in handling and working through customer objections.
You must enjoy working in a fast paced environment and be passionate with the desire to achieve positive results and exceed targets. You must be a fast learner who is open to learning new things and being able to adapt in an ever changing environment. You will be skilled at using your initiative to solve problems with a positive attitude and will have the ability to cope under pressure with determination and perseverance.
